Adolescent Medicine

Adolescent Medicine, a successful mail-order newsletter, needed a way to easily maintain their web presence, charge for subscriptions, and syndicate content.

We took their existing design, integrated WordPress as a content management system, and imported 400+ articles to create a fully searchable online periodical. We also set up a subscription service using PayPal, to limit access to registered visitors and paid subscribers.

A popular message board, Chicago Sports Fan, was overrun with SPAM. Our role was to make it impossible for spam-bots to register and post.

We installed a Captcha, as well as other spam-blocking modifications. Upon success, we were contracted to make other improvements to the site to enhance the user experience.
