Google Is 10 Years Old!

Google, which was founded in September 1998, turns ten years old this month!

To celebrate, they’ve created a new section of their website which chronicals all of their accomplishments and products over the last decade.

Take a look. It’s definitely worth checking out; you’ll be able to see all that Google has been up to over these past few years.

…and They Plan to CHANGE THE WORLD!

To celebrate their 10^th birthday, Google is sponsoring Project 10¹⁰⁰ (pronounced "Project 10 to the 100th"), which is a call for ideas to change the world by helping as many people as possible. After ideas are received, voted on, and selected, the final ideas will receive $10 million for implementation.

Google is an amazing company. In the last 10 years, they’ve built a successful search engine, a suite of products, and have now expanded to software, platforms, and consumer electronics. It will be interesting to see what Google achieves in the next decade.
