Google, which was founded in September 1998, turns ten years old this month!
To celebrate, they’ve created a new section of their website which chronicals all of their accomplishments and products over the last decade.
Take a look. It’s definitely worth checking out; you’ll be able to see all that Google has been up to over these past few years.
To celebrate their 10th birthday, Google is sponsoring Project 10100 (pronounced "Project 10 to the 100th"), which is a call for ideas to change the world by helping as many people as possible
. After ideas are received, voted on, and selected, the final ideas will receive $10 million for implementation.
To learn more about this project or submit your own world-changing idea, click here. Submissions will need to be received prior to October 10th. Good luck.
Google is an amazing company. In the last 10 years, they’ve built a successful search engine, a suite of products, and have now expanded to software, platforms, and consumer electronics. It will be interesting to see what Google achieves in the next decade.
