Poll: What Features Do You Want in WordPress 2.8?

The WordPress developers are hard at work, making tough decisions as they narrow down the features that will be included in the next release. And they’ve decided to let the WordPress community help them prioritize which new features will be included.

Want to influence development?

You are invited to take a quick poll. The survey will close at noon on December 31, so be sure to get your votes in before then.

What features are they considering?

Right now, some interesting features on the table include:

  • improved search functionality
  • automatic theme installations and updates
  • interface enhancements
  • overall performance and speed improvements
  • and more…

I am happy with the 2.7 interface so far, can’t wait to check out 2.8.

Haha. Yes, I think everyone would appreciate it if WP could write posts. :-)

I agree, the 2.7 interface is much improved. But I doubt that the interface will change for 2.8, we’ll probably just get a few new features… kind of like 2.5 and 2.6. Anyway, I can’t wait for the features. I really hope that they improve the native search and increase the speed.
