Web Design and Development
This just in, Uber.com announced that it will be shutting down on Monday.
For those of you who are not familiar with Uber, it is a service which enables users to create free websites, blogs, slideshows, and more for free! And over the last two years, they created a thriving community of users. But now, they are done!

Apparently, they are the latest victim in the economic crisis. According to the note on their website, Uber’s investors have stopped supporting them.
If you are a current user of uber, you have until Monday to retrieve all of your content. And we suggest that you do this sooner than later. As the deadline approaches, the site will inevitably get more traffic, possibly causing it to become sluggish.
The only way to avoid this from happening is by hosting your own website. It will cost you a few extra dollars a month, but it is definitely worth it. For more reasons to host your own blog or website, read our article 6 Reasons To Host Your Own Blog.

I used to be one of the Uber user and I would say their service is pretty good. It’s a shame they have to shutdown due to the crisis.
