What Is The Value of Your Website?

Website ValueOne of the most common questions among webmasters is: How Much Is My Website Worth?. And even if you are not planning on selling your website, this is still an interesting question.

Unfortunately, the answer to this questions is not often easy to surmise. After all, there are many different variables that need to be considered. Some of these website value variables include:

  1. age of website
  2. quality of domain name
  3. type of website
  4. traffic volume and quality of traffic
  5. advertising revenue
  6. subscriber base
  7. maintenance costs
  8. quality of design
  9. PageRank of homepage and interior pages
  10. potential buyers

And currently, there are not any tools which takes into account all of these factors. So, if you are seriously considering selling your website, it is important to hire a professional to assess the true value of your website.

But for curiosity’s sake, consider checking out these tools. You will notice quite a bit of variability between them, however, they do give you a ballpark figure of the value of your website.
